If your FaceTime is stuck on “Connecting” and won’t connect to the person you’re trying to call, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue.
Internet Connection
First, make sure that both you and the person you’re trying to call have a good internet connection. If either of you has a poor connection, FaceTime may have trouble connecting.
Enabled on your device
If you both have good internet connections, the next thing to check is whether or not FaceTime is enabled on your devices. To do this, go to the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and make sure that FaceTime is turned on.
Restart
If FaceTime is still stuck on “Connecting” after you’ve checked both of these things, the next step is to restart your device. This can fix minor software updates that may be causing the issue.
there are a few other troubleshooting steps you can try. For example, you can try resetting your network settings or restoring your device from a backup.
Check Settings
If you are having trouble making or receiving calls using FaceTime over a cellular connection, it may be due to incorrect settings. To check if this is the case, go to your device’s settings and find the section that manages cellular connection settings. Then, find the tab called Use Cellular Data For and make sure that you allow the app to work when you are not connected to Wi-Fi.
If you’re still having trouble connecting after trying all of these things, the problem may be with the person you’re trying to call. If they’re also having trouble connecting, have them try some of these troubleshooting steps as well.
